• There will be an open-house on Wednesday, Dec. 29 at the Rappahannock News from 12 noon to 2 p.m. to bid farewell to editor Mary Ann Kuhn. Everyone is invited. • The District Court, Treasurer’s Office and Commissioner of Revenue's Office of Rappahannock County will be close Thursday, Dec. 23 in observance of the Christmas holiday and reopen on Monday, Dec. 27. They will close Thursday, Dec. 30 for the New Year's holiday and reopen Monday, Jan. 3. • The County Administration and Zoning Office and the Circuit Court Clerk's Office will close Thursday, Dec. 23 at 1 p.m., in observance of the Christmas holidays and will reopen Monday, Dec. 27. They will close Dec. 30 for the New Year's holiday and reopen on Jan. 3. • The Rappahannock Fitness Center will be closed Friday, Dec. 24, Saturday, Dec. 25, Friday, Dec. 31 and Saturday, Jan. 1. • On Friday, Dec. 24 the Rappahannock National Bank will close at 12 noon and reopen on Monday, Dec. 27. It will be open Friday, Dec. 31 until 2 p.m. It will be closed Monday, Jan. 3 and reopen with regular hours on Tuesday, Jan. 4. • The Rappahannock News will have an early deadline for the Thursday, Jan. 6 edition due to the New Year's holiday.
