Environmental Protection in efforts to beautify the courthouse park.
For the past 12 years, the large evergreen directly in front of the courthouse has been decorated by the Rappahannock County Girl Scout troops under the leadership of Sally Havstad.
“I’m not sure how long the tree has been decorated, but I have been involved for the last 12 years,” said Havstad.
The Hoops decided they could not decorate to the top of the large tree, so they contacted RLEP and the Rappahannock Garden Club to help find a tree they would be able to decorate.
