This would be a half-day program offered to gifted and talented students in the fields of mathematics, science and technology in conjunction with Clarke, Culpeper, Fauquier, Frederick, Rappahannock, Warren counties and Winchester City and would be housed at LFCC.
Chappell advised the board that he has sent in a grant application to a program called Clean Buses for Kids School Bus Diesel Retrofit Program.
Its purpose is to provide grants to school districts to retrofit diesel school buses with emission control equipment.
