Approximately 55 girls are involved in local scouting troops that range from first grade to seniors in high school.
“The girls have fun making the ornaments. We weren't sure we were going to have a tree for awhile, so now we are quickly making them.” said Havstad.
The scout troops have braved the cold weather this past week to make certain all of the ornaments are ready to help feed the wildlife and are now hanging on the tree in preparation for the holidays.
