Jack Frazier’s abstractions have brought life to the Packing Shed Gallery’ in Little Washington and his show of 24 paintings will enrich its viewers until it closes Jan. 17.
It almost goes without saying that non-figurative art like this is considered with the heart, and that we come to an emotional conclusion about it. The best abstract art - and this show falls into that category - almost defies a right-brained approach to viewing. Let your eyes lead your heart around its walls.
When he was 18, Frazier lived near the U. S. Capitol and because a trolley car line running near his Washington, D. C. home made a stop at the National Art School, the decision on where to study painting was simplified.
