Mr. and Mrs. Bill Crossman of Reva Way are dedicated “eggers” as they continue their hobby of decorating eggs and this year they have a decorated egg tree which they started about six months ago and it features dozens of egg creations using bantam, goose, turkey, quail and duck eggs. Bill does the eggshells using his special drill and wife Jean does the decorating. Quite an interesting hobby and what a beautiful tree it must be, along with rooms also decorated with eggshells.
Our own Boston postmaster Ken Marlor, who is also on the Rappahannock County School Board from our district, and all his workers, along with rural carrier Eddie Bennett, takes time out from their busy schedule to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and prosperous New Year.
This writer would like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone who has contributed to this column during the past year. It’s been a privilege as we “chat” from time to time and we continue to look forward to your news, whether it’s meetings, birthdays, anniversaries, visitations or sad to say, even obituaries. They all have a place in the Boston column.
