Although Almond prefers a man-to-man defense himself, he was forced to switch to zone as well, using a 1-3-1 in an attempt to stop Brentsville’s only senior starter Katie Steel.
“She was just too much for us. The girls are working hard and want to compete, they are young and learning,” said Almond.
