Last Thursday, shortly after 8 p.m., Curtis Nichols, 37, of Rollins Ford Road in Amissville, stumbled into his home and collapsed with a stab wound to his upper chest, begging his wife, Marsha to call 911.
“I could not imagine what had happened. There was blood everywhere. I called 911 and told them I did not know if he had been shot or stabbed or what, but to please hurry,” said Mrs. Nichols.
She went on to explain that her husband had driven to Davidson Lane to Larry “Cavey” Silvers house, “just over there in the woods,” she pointed across the road.
Nichols and Silvey, she said, had become acquaintances eight or nine months ago and were occasional drinking buddies,
