REMAINING OPTIONS As there has been a dramatic rise in cremation as an alternative form of final disposition to the traditional burial, there has been an increased need for options for determining the final resting place of the remains. While some families choose to scatter the remains in a meaningful way, the majority choose to place them in a permanent container or cremation um. These urns can. in turn, be placed in a columbarium niche at a cemetary, in a cremation garden, or at home. There are also keepsake ums, which are designed to hold only a portion of the cremated remains. These are useful when more than one family member wants to keep a portion of the remains. Each family is different when it comes to cremation. Whether to keep the remains in an um or to scatter them in an appropriate place is a personal choice. At the MOSER FUNERAL HOME, we offer a full range of burial options from cremation to burial, along with services designed to your preferences.
