talent shows. Besides being fun, 4-H promotes public speaking, leadership, and responsibility. Participants who are actively involved in 4-H may participate in county and state-wide programs and competitions and senior level members have many scholarship opportunities.
4-H programming can also be offered in the schools, as 4-H curriculum is researched based and is designed to meet many SOL requirements.
There are many opportunities within 4-H. With help from volunteers, 4-H can meet the needs and interests of Rappahannock youth between the ages of 5-19.
