don’t get out to church at any other time during the year, Christmas Eve is a wonderful time to give it a try.
The 7 p.m. Candlelight service at Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church, where lots of greenery, special lighting, and close to 50 memorial and honorarium poinsettias will run down the aisles and decorate the front of the church, will host an evening that includes carols by candlelight, infant dedications, and a children’s sermon about the legend of the candy cane called “The Candy Maker’s Witness.” For information contact pastor Jon Heddleston at 987-8137.
Also on Christmas Eve, the Sperryville Methodist Church will have a Candlelight Communion Service at 8 p.m. The public is invited.
