September 23, 24: RAAC Film Festival “The Power
of Color In Film”
The Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community presents The Power of Color in Film, a two-day film festival Friday, September 23 and Saturday, September 24 at the Theatre, at Washington, 291 Gay Street. American Film Institute professor and author Patti Bellantoni will come from Los Angeles to present the festival. Friday at 8 p.m. the critically acclaimed drama “Dear Frankie” will be shown followed by group discussion. Saturday from 10 am. to 12 p.m. A talk and group discussion continues with lunch at noon provided by Sunnyside Market. Admission is as follows: RAAC members: $10 a day or $18 for both days; for attendees who are not RAAC members: $15 a day or $25 for both days. Student discounts on tickets will be offered for $8 each day. Box lunches $8.
