The RAAC film festival is a must for film students, artists, designers, interior decorators, educators, healers, musicians, psychotherapists and scientists, but will also be invaluable to any movie goers seeking a deeper understanding of the visual storytelling experience.
Cinema Paradiso at the Packing Shed Comer (the corner of Gay and Porter Streets) in Washington, VA has a display of all the videos/dvds Bellantoni plans to highlight during the two-day event available for previewing now, leading up to the event. Copies of Bellantoni’s book, “If It’s Purple Someone’s Gonna Die: The Power of Color in Visual Storytelling,” will be available for purchase throughout the film festival.
Admission fees are as follows: RAAC members: $10 a day, or $18 for both days; for attendees who are not members of RAAC (general public): $15 a day, or $25 for both days. Student discounted tickets $8 each day.
Box lunches will be available Saturday, September 24 for $8.
