However, Paul Charles Perrott, 46, of Culpeper was seen by picnickers in Page County attempting to hide his 1989 Yamaha Motorcycle on an old wagon road. The civilians reported his suspicious behavior to the Page County Sheriff’s Department, and they detained the suspect until Trooper Linkous and Trooper Derrick Mauck arrived. The motorcyclist was charged with eluding pursuit, a Category 6 felony. Perrot was breaking the posted limit by 10 mph when he initially attracted police attention.
