Rappahannock’s Bleu Rock Inn has come under new ownership and change is in the works.
“We’re going to take it back to its Rappahannock roots,” said Gary Harvey, who along with his partner Jim McCullough have purchased the Bleu Rock from former owner Jo Mariea. McCullough’s name should be familiar to Bleu Rock patrons, as he’s a Rappahannock local and has been the chef at Bleu Rock’s Bleu Horse Restaurant since last January. Before coming to the Bleu Rock, McCullough cooked for several cruise ship lines. His partner, Harvey, owns a great deal of real estate, and several businesses in Crystal City, VA, including a florist.
