Rappahannock County is a special place. This year alone, several groups formed to reach out to the victims and survivors of the natural disasters that have shaped 2005. But very close to home, there is a group of Rappahannock County citizens that need help. They are our county’s foster care children.
The majority of Rappahannock County children in foster care are currently placed outside the county. While part of this is due to the special needs of the individual children, the majority are outside of Rappahannock because there are simply not enough foster parents.
