This senior level position reports directly to the Treasurer. The Chief Deputy is responsible for day-to-day management of multiple divisions which includes Collections, Accounting, Investments, Reconciliation, Information Services, ana Cashiers. This person will be responsible for developing and implementing departmental procedures, designing and maintaining proper internal controls, assisting with the preparation of the County and State budgets and working with various county departments. Ability to interact with the public and county employees in a professional manner is a must. Prefer a Master2s Degree in Accounting or Finance with at least seven years experience at a high level. Three years of Supervisory experience is expected. Must have excellent written and verbal skills. Public sector experience desired. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with mainframe computer systems is required. Criminal background check and credit check will be required.
