RCHS 8th - 9th Grade Team Wins Fall 2005 State Knowledge Master, Open (KMO) Championship: The RCHS team competed in the junior high school division of this internet-based academic competition and amassed 1,495 of the possible 2,000 points.
Besides winning the state title, Rappahannock County finished 31st out of 143 (in the top 25%) schools nationally. Team members included Jeff Booher, Chase Tupper, Megan Wheatley, Addie Cupp, Caroline Massie, Sarah Smoot, Willie Southard, A.J.
