Crime ring
John Hitt III of Amissville has been charged with Grand Larceny by Lt. Connie Smith. The 18-year-old Hitt is alleged to have stolen a valuable ring from his grandmother, who he lives with. The ring, which went missing between December 9 and December 12, is a family heirloom worth around $7,000, and has not yet been recovered by the RCSD.
