Though the Virginia Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective Association has been offering $2,000 purses in Virginia-bred races each week, Fairfax is unique on the point-to-point circuit in that it offers purses in all races on the card, including hefty $5,000 prizes in the featured Guest Cup open hurdle and Bowman Bowl open timber.
Other races include open, maiden and Virginiabred turf and two maiden hurdle races.
