is simply Hogwash! The taxpayer elects you. The school board should at least respond to our concerns and answer our questions.
The school board will not listen to the taxpaying citizen that elected them, but they will listen to non-taxpaying people that do not live in this county.
It was on the school board’s schedule to discuss an increase in the tuition for out-of-county students. Rightfully so, it should go up if the cost per student has gone up. Parents of three out-ofcounty students made a tearful plea not to raise the tuition because they would not be able_to send theirvchildren to Rappahannock schools. Not only did the school board not raise the tuition, they lowered it by $2,000. Then they came up with reasons to lower the tuition after the fact.
