The film is enjoyable on many levels, cinematography, musical score, great acting and a screenplay that will stay with you for a long time. The film is brutal in its depiction of war. The Dunkirk scene is very “Apocalypse Now" and we are not spurt'd the horrors of war. But I have to say that there is not one scene in this film that disappoints. The author of the Isxik, Ian McKwan, was on the sets during filming and has given high praise to Christopher Hampton for this great screenplay.
