Old Dominion

trail rides set

The Old Dominion Hounds will host a series of spring trail rides.

The April 26 ride is at The Field House in Hume; a May 10 ride is at Houyhnhmn Farm in Hume; a May 31 ride is at Hunter's Rest in Flint Hill. AD rides begin at 10 a.m. and are “walking only,” making them a good schooling opportunity for young horses or green riders.

The cost is $20 for adults and $10 for kids under 12. Riders are requested to bring a dish to share for a picnic lunch that foUows each ride.

Trailblazers

show May 4

The Trailblazers riding chib will hold its annual fun schooling show on Sunday, May 4 at Grove in Warrenton. Classes begin at 9 a.m. and will include English and western pleasure, gaited, trail, jumping, driving and games.
