SperryviHe is the home of a new magazine committed to sustaining the unique local flavors and economic viability of the region and showcasing the people and places that make the food from the Piedmont special. Piedmont Media. LLC, owns the magazine and plans to expand into other regions within the next year, but always keeping Sperryville as the corporate headquarters. The office at 47A Main Street was selected by Melissa Harris, publisher and Sperryville resident.

FLAVOR draws on some of the Piedmont’s finest writers and will include profiles of many of Virginia’s tastiest seasonal offerings, information about the local and sustainable food movement, and how it can be supported by restaurants, vendors, nonprofits and other community programs. The magazine will also have recipes, resources and other succulent surprises, as well as an abundance of mouthwatering photography.
