Two deputies in the Rappahannock County Sheriffs Office received promotions recently. Janie Phillips, left, was promoted to sergeant and Matt Ralls, right, was promoted to corporal. Phillips and Ralls both work in the county jail.
“Both of them have gone above and beyond their duties in recent months to prepare the jail for its three-year audit,” Maj. Scott Jenkins said.
