the board and Mr. Chappell would give us the courtesy to at least listen to us and comment or answer our concerns. Instead, one school board member called us “naysayers,” one school supporter said we were “bullies” and Mr. Chappell sends out an e-mail to all school employees that reads, “Ignore the very vScal small minority.”
Last year I attended the school board meeting when the budget was approved, and if you take out the teachers that spoke for the budget, and the citizens that spoke against the budget, it was 3 to 1.
The board and Mr. Chappell’s attitude is, if you’re not with us, you’re against us. Twice school board members have told me that we do not really listen to the taxpayer, the school board members are stewards of the children. That
