Royce Campbell and the Hod O’Brien Trio return with their special mix of instrumental jazz to the BB&T Center for the Performing Arts April 26 at 7:30 p.m. Royce Campbell was Henry Mancini’s tour guitarist for 19 years. On Saturday, April 26, Wakefield Country Day School will host its ninth annual Spring Auction and Dinner, with the theme. An Evening in Monte Carlo. Tickets are $60 per person, which includes a reception with musical entertainment; delicious hors d’oeuvres; complimentary martinis, wine and beer; a multicourse dinner; a silent auction with over 100 items that range from antiques and personal services to weekend getaways, and a live auction featuring unique class entnes. Special sponsor tables are available for $600. which includes reserved seating for eight, a full-page ad in the auction catalog, specially selected wine at dinner, a beautiful table floral arrangement, and keepsake gifts.
