historic school house turned Community Center* hosted a hoe down for RAWL that also had the crowd hopping. All this activity, following the wonderful Clean Streams event, made Sperryville a very lively place last weekend.
First Annual Spring Car and Truck Show
On Saturday, April 19. from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.. plan to attend a new annual event at the Historic SchoolHouse in Sperryville. The Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church will award over 80 trophies to vehicles in 30 categories. A few of these are Corvette (1973-1953). Original Car (1957 and prior). Street Rod Car (1957 and prior) and Import (1080 to 2008). This is just a bit of information to whet your appetite for this professional event presented in an atmosphere of good old fashioned Rappahannock hospitality. You are guaranteed a good time, for along with this fantastic display of cars and trucks, you will enjoy a DJ, a singing group, 50/50 drawings, door prizes, food, drink and tee shirts for sale.
