BB&T Center for the Performing Arts
The PAL Players will hold auditions for their summer comedy production of “Play On!” at the BB&T Center for the Performing Arts April 18 at 7:30 p.m. and April 19 at 3 p.m. This is the hilarious story of a theater group trying desperately to put on a play in spite of maddening interference from a haughty authoress who keeps revising the script. Participants only need to attend one of the two audition dates. Volunteers are needed for a variety of jobs. Director Claire Comer will ask actors to do a cold reading from the play. Questions can be directed to Mrs. Comer at 743-2544. Rehearsals will begin immediately. Performances, which will be offered as dinner theatre or dessert matinee, are scheduled for June 27 and July 5, 11, 13, 18 and 19.
