At press time the Town of Washington emailed the Rappahannock News the following additional agenda item for its upcoming Town Council meeting on May 13:
‘Council will discuss and consider initiating rezoning of properties to Village Residential so that they may be included as additional users in Phase One of the Sewer System."
Mayor Eugene Leggett, speaking to the Rappahannock News late on Wednesday said the Town Council will consider rezoning some areas, including properties zoned Rural Residential which are currently in Phase II oJ[ the sewer project.
