Varsity Softball - Defeated by Madison County High School 13- 2. Coach Jamie Harris reports: “We defeated George Mason 8-3 Friday night. The Lady Panthers were led defensively by Megan Early who pitched a complete game 6 hitter with 8 strikeouts. Also, the Panther defense brought their A game as they turned an outstanding double play and committed only 1 error in the field. At the plate Early had a double and a single and scored 2 runs. Lauren Settle also had 2 base hits and 2 RBI’s. Rappahannock improves to 4-9 overall, and 1-5 in the Bull Run standings. The Panthers have a crucial stretch of games in the next 2 weeks with Manassas Park, Clarke County, George Mason, and Strasburg. If
