Schools’ budget

There were more questions thrown at schools’ superintendent Dr. Bob Chappell during his regular update at the supervisors’ meeting from Ron Frazier regarding heating and cooling maintenance. Particularly, why had the heating and cooling systems been allowed to decay to such a point that the entire system needed to be replaced.
“The problem is, we’ve wasted a lot of money over the years by letting the system go into disrepair,” he said.
Moreover, Frazier wanted to know why budgeted amounts for HVAC repair had been decreasing over recent years.
“Why would we be spending less on maintenance and let the system go to pieces,” he wanted to know.
