Beth O’Bannon, valedictorian of the graduating class of Rappahannock County High School, has been given the annual award of The Reader’s Digest Association for students who by their successful school work give promise of attaining leadership in the community, it was announced today by Dennis Wingfield, principal.
Jo Anna Battaglia, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Battaglia was christened on Sunday, May 11, 1969 in the Methodist Church in Howard Beach, N Y. Buddy Aylor and daughter, Stephanie Aylor were godparents. Ranny Aylor also attended. The baby is the grandchild of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Aylor of Sperryville.
