• Nicolas Lapham — Agriculture, Hampton District. Lapham is the owner of The Farm at Sunnyside in Washington. He has served in government as well as for non-profit companies and splits his time between Rappahannock and Washington, D.C.

>• Ron Makela - Small Business, Jackson District. Makela, of Amissville, has lived in Rappahannock since 1981 and has a home maintenance business called Yellow Brick Road. His wife, Jan, is a Rappahannock native.

• Kevin McCrohan - Academia, Jackson District. McCrohan, who moved to Rappahannock in 2005 but has owned land here for 20 years, is a professor of marketing at George Mason University in Fairfax where lie has taught since 1984. He lives in Amissville.
