Folk music from Scotland will come to the Theatre at Washington, Virginia, on Saturday, May 16 when the lively trio known as North Sea Gas plays at 8 p.m.
Dave Gilfillan, Ronnie MacDonald and Grant Simpson, who make up North Sea Gas, play the traditional Scottish music on guitar, banjo, mandola, bodhran, bouzouki and fiddle - and they sing solo and in harmony. Together they entertain with songs, new and old, great instrumentals, history and more. Their approach is professional, their arrangements thoughtful.
