Caulfield Gallery is hosting an exhibition titled, “Joie de Vivre: A Celebration of Color and Light" from May 7 to June 8.
An opening artists’ reception will be held Saturday, May 9 from 3-7 p.m. at the gallery on Middle Street in Washington. The public is invited to meet the artists and enjoy refreshments.
The show is a large collection of new paintings by artists Teresa Duke Dunnigan, Sydney Hall and David Williams.

Dunnigan was bom in Washington, D.C. The daughter of tw o physicians, she spent much of her childhood painting alongside her mother, who is also a talented watercolorist.
In 1987, the artist moved to Warrenton while pursuing her Master of Fine Arts degree at George Washington University under the tutelage of William Woodward. After graduation, she spent several years living and work
