Attend Meeting

Rev. M. E. Sliger and Rev. Norman J. Flythe attended a committee meeting in Strasburg Monday, February 27. Col. John C. Boggs, president of RandolphMacon Academy was chairman of the committee to select a date and place for a meeting on "Church. Co-operation at MidCentury.” Dr. Minor C. Miller, executive secretary of the Virginia Coiuncil of Churches, addressed the committee and outlined the purpose and plan of the meeting. The committee decided to have the meeting at Front Royal May 15, 1950 at 7:30 p.m.

RETURNS TO COUNTY FOLLOWING GRADUATION

Miss Elizabeth Racer has returned to the county following the complettion of the course and graduation at the Vocational Beauty School at Greensboro, N. C. Miss Racer has assumed her duties as beauty operator at Watts Beaiuty Parlor in Washington. Miss Racer is making her home with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Racer.
