Rappahannock Recipes
To Be Re-Published
A committee from the Woodvilli* and Mt. Lebanon Baptist churches is working to re-publish the famous “Rare Rappahannock Recipes” cook book, published by the ladies of the Woodville Missionary Society in 1928.
The cook book is to be revised and additions are to be made.
The men of the ch rch are helping with this project, the proceeds of which will be applied to the funds being raised to finance the new parsonage under construction at Woodville. The gentlemen are going to leave'’ the . ecipes and the cooking to the ladies, but they are giving practical aid in helping solicit advertisement and other “men’s work.”
The few copies of “Rare Rappahannock Recipes” left in tho county from the first publication are so dilapidated now from constant use that the owners are begging for new copies to replace t.ieir worn-out ones. Others in Rappahannock and surrounding counties who have heard their friends talk of these famous recipes are also anxious to own a copy.
