The present tentative school plan calls fo'r next year’s school, session, 1950-51, to consolidate two high schools into one county high school located at Washington, and consolidate Washington and Sperrvville fifth, sixth, ant seventh grades into the Spcrryville school.
Fuither tentative plans of consolidation in grades throughout the county will be postponed to another year. Several plans for consolidation in Amissville, Forest Grove, Flint Hill, Reager, Woodville, and Belle Meade were discussed, but since this is not to be done for next year's session, nothing definite was stated.
Superintendent Q. D. Gasqie presented two tentative school budgets. One, witnout consolidation, required about $170,000, another, with consolidation, about $172,000.
The levy of $1.75 is not sufficient to cover the budget, but Supt. Gasque agreed to try in every po.-sible way to hold to thi> figure.

The five little Peppers, long confined between the covers ofthe books which their creator,, Margaret Sidney, wrote about them, have come to life again and are currently touring the country from coast-to-coast, winning new friends and refreshing the memories of old and dear admirers.
