“Historic Virginia”
Will Be Shown March 14
A new color motion picture of the OH Dominion entitled ‘'Historic Virginia’' will be shown by a representative of the Standard Oil Company at the meeting of the American Legion Auxiliary on Tuesday, March 14, at 7:30.
The historic highlights and attractions of the Old Dominion’s 342 years of history, which would fill a library of books and which most of ,, s would never find time to read, will be shown in tliis 30minute, full-color motion picture. Historic Williamsburg, Jamestown, Yorktown, as well as the rainbow color of Garden Week and the Apple Blossom Festival will be shown, along with the unmatched handiwork, of nature in the scenic valleys and mountains of the “First State of the Union.’’
At the conclusion of the movie the members of the auxiliary are requested to remain for a business meeting,

Denver D. Bragg, associate po.ltry husbandman of V.P.I., in charge of 4-H poultry project work, has advised 800-1000 nice straight-run baby chicks will be delivered to the office of the County agent the latter part of March by a near-by hatchery.
Generel plans are to allow each club member 100 baby chicks without cost, however each member will turn in to the county agent 8-9 cockerels that are 1214 weeks old in order to keep the project rolling for another year.
Any Rappahannock boy or git! interested in thD project should call the county agent’s office— Washington-2231-—or come by in person to get an application form to be filled out and signed by the 4-H member and a patent or guardian. These forms mist be completed and returned by Saturday, March 4, to the agent'office.
