A meeting of the F.T. Valley. No. 2 club was held at the homo of Mrs. Sidney Perry, February 22, at 2:00 p.m. A demonstration was given by the agent on “Oven Meals.’’ It«tvas brought out that “Oven ?^‘als” not only econo-* mize on fuel, but, time and energy too. A discussion on the basic “7“ food, and, what con-, stitutes make up a good breakfast, lunch and dinner was explained by the agent. Along with the meal prepared, the hostess, served most delicious refresh-, ments.
Mrs. Oilie Wines entertained the Chester Gap Home Demonstration Club, February 23. General business was taken up. The club paid their state federation dues, and reported an excellent; sale of vanilla and lemon extract., It was decided that in April the club would have an extra meeting on “How to Slip Cover”, then a demonstration on “How to Bottom Chairs and Stools” was gi\en. Two -chairs were started and almost completed, and two stools were started, one finished. Very delicious cup cakes and lemonade was served by the hostess.
The Oastketon Hon^e Demonstration Club met at the home of Mrs. G.' H. Wayland, February 24, with 18 present, the largest group ever to attend the club: Business was taken up first. Tho club decided to take up a free will offering each time to add to the club treasurer . . . The State
