Flint Hill News Notes
Gallay Smith Jr., who has been in the Warren Memorial Hospital for an operation, is at home and is improving nicely.
Mrs. B. J. Wood and Mrs. John S. Browning.and -sons, Dudley.and Johnnie spent Monday in Winchester.
Rev. and Mrs. Gilbert Profitt of Darlington, South Carolina arrived in Flint Hill on Saturday. Rev. Profitt preached a trial sermon at the Flint Hill Baptist Church on Sunday morning. Those from Washington Baptist Church who heard him were Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell, Mrs. J. Frank Jones, Mr. an4 Mrs. E. M. Jones, and Miss Mary Miller Wood. The last report is that the two churches will make their decision after a meeting of the members.
The Rev. and Mrs. Profitt made their home at Mrs. Russell Wood's while in the county. Saturday night Rev. and Mrs. Profitt were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. C B. Wood, Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning and Mrs. E. R. Browning had them for their Sunday dinner guests. Sunday evening Mr. and Mrs. David Corbin entertained them and Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Wood at a picnic supper on the Skvline Drive.
