As p part of this'education program, charts, posters, booklets and other nutrition materials were distributed for the primary and intermediate grades and 'their use was encouraged. Charts and posters were being used on bulletin boards in the classrooms and in tfie halls. In sotre rooms the booklets were placed on reading tables, or were thumbtacked to bulletin boards, so that the* children might read thenTat recess or in their leisure time. Teachers reported that they had noticed children reading the booklets and that the childrgn had asked questions about the Seven Food Group posters. In several classes Seven Food Group posters have been made by the students themselves.

In some of the classes foods were drawn, colored and placed on bulletin boards. The students then discussed these foods and what they contribute toward good health. One of the lower grades made milk bottles with pipe stem legs and arms as a part of their

It’s all very bewildering. f Spme very smart man may know the answer. I can just sit and enjoy pondering. (That's a 4>leasapt thought, here at the beginning of the beautiful fall season. It must be very dull to be extra-smart; you’d know all the answers. Now when one can be nice-and-comfortably-average, it furnishes relaxation just pondering.)
