The dietary survey and reports of the lactobacillus tests were reported to the principal, teachers, elementary ,supervisor and other participant^ in the project at a meeting in each of the schools and the possiblities for a nutrition education program in these schools Were discussed. All of the participants agreed that there was a great need for improving the dietary habits of the children.

The teachers decided that they would like to have a refresher course in nutrition so that they might give the study of nutriton added emphasis in their health classes. They agreed to meet oikc a week for these lessons until the course was completed. Subjects such as "Relationship of Food Health,” “Seven Food Groups and Their Gontribution to Health” and “Nuriton Education in the felementary Grades” were discussed with the teachdrs by the nutritionist from the State Health Department.
