DIVISIONS KOREA—Cpl. Morris Jefferies, whose wife, Viola, lives in Luray, is now serving with the 25th Infantry Division in the eastern Korea sector.
The 25th, famed for its stand at Pusan and the breakthrough at Taegu in early Korean fighting, has recently been engaged in probing Communist concentrations northeast of the Punchbowl area.
Cpl. Jefferies arrived in Korea on August 14 of this year and is serving as an automatic rifleman in Company A of the 14th Infantry Regiment. He entered the Army in February 1951.
His mother, Mary Jefferies, (father deceased) lives in Washington, Va._^; •_
On Saturday, September 20, the Vocational Agriculture Department of George Washington Carver Regional High School will resume the responsibility of sponsoring weekly radio programs. These programs will- l;e broadcast each Saturday morning from 9:15 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. „ over Radio Station WJMA, Orange. Although sponsored by the Agricultural Department, the program will not be totally agricultural. They will including the functional activities of represent the total school’s program all clubs and organizations.
