voltage party.” We were assigned to such teams as “Overloaded circuits, Frayed cords, Tampered Fuses and Bare wires.” There were contests in making hats, popping balloons and finding such articles as a red sock, a high school ring or a shoe string. The next event was a meter readers' test in which the contestant was led blind folded through cracked ice, over a “washed out bridge” and barked at by an imitation dog. This was supposed to show what the meter man goes through with. It was loads of fun to watch, anyway.

On Saturday morning, we had a three minute report by each district winner on what he had done and planned to, do in this project. These were very interesting. After that, we had a group discussion on improving the rural electrif cation project and making it more effective. The Phillips
