Guests for several days last week of Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Gore and Mrs. Helen Bruce at “Barlow” were Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Partlow of Culpeper. Miss Elma Davis Bruce and Buddy Smith of Arlington were overnight guests of Mrs. Bruce on Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. Chris Schaefer, accompanied by their son-in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Manuel and their tiwo children, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. James Harris at Catlett.
Guests in the home of Mr. and Mrs. M. W. Brown during the week end were Mr. and Mrs. J. Earl Wayland, Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Gore, Mrs. Helen Bruce, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Cloud, James Ashby, Henry Brown, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Brown, and R. E. Thompson. Miss Frances Fletcher Smith and Miss Sallie Bushong of Madison spent the week end at “Thornton Hill” with Mrs. W. M. Fletcher.
