Mill Iron - H-812, one of the 50 purebred hereford bulls that was donated by the Sears Roebuck Foundation and assigned to the O R. Johnson Chapter of New Farmers of America, will be shown for the second successive year at the Atlantic Rural Exposition. The bull is kept on the farm of Clifton Hill Sr. who has established a Hereford herd of over 40 heads. He is handled by Clifton Hill Jr., who is a third year Vocatioal Agricultural Student. Clifton Hill Jr., who is rapidly becoming established in farming, will be pursuing the Modem Farmer Degree this ytar.
Mill Iron placed fourth in keen competition at the Atlantic Rural Exposition last year. However, each member of the O R. Johnson Chapter is putting forth additional effort to make the competition even keener on September 23, the date that the Sears Roebuck bulls will be shown.
There will be a social given at the Washington School, September 26, at 8 p.m., sponsored by the Pastor’s Aid Club of the First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Mary E. Flicklin, chairman ■of Jackson District for the Bloodmobile Unit, has just sent in nine blood donor pledge cards signed, i which shows that she has worked with cooperation. It is hoped that many more will sign with her, as well as with other workers.
