Purple Heart Veteran ' Donates To Blood Bank
Coolidge Groves, colored, the first boy to leave Rappahannock for induction with the new crisis, September, 1950, has volunteered as a: donor when the Red Cross Bloodmobile is -in Rappahannock Monday, September 22.
Veteran Groves was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds received in Korean battles. He made no statement when he signed up to donate blood, he jdst quietly volunteered.

Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Partlow motored to Richmond on Saturday to return with M. W. Brown, a patient at McGuire Hospital, who spent the weekend with his family in F. T. Valley.
