Mayor Dorothy C. Davis and Councilman Mrs.' C J. Miller Jr. left Sunday to attend the Municipal Convention which is being held in the Hotel Chamberlain at Old Point Comfort. George H. Davis Jr. acted as chauffeur for the ladies. The party returned on Wednesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Lewis J. Turner had as their dinner guests on Sunday Dr. and Mrs. W. G. Pendleton and Mrs. Bartow Brpwn. Dr. and Mrs. Pendleton left Monday to their apartment in Warrenton, at which, time Dr. Pendleton assumed his new duties as English and Mathematics instructor in the Stuyvesant School for Boys.
Mr. .and Mrs. George Page and family, Helen and Robert were dinner guests on Monday of Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Updike.
